Our HOT TAR® Habanero Infused Wildflower Honey is made with 100% raw wildflower honey and our sustainably-grown chocolate habanero peppers. This infusion adds a sweet and smoky heat to one of our favorite types of honey.

The wildflower honey used in our HOT TAR® Habanero Infused Wildflower Honey is 100% raw without any artificial ingredients or sweeteners. This means that the honey has not been heat-treated or strained and it ensures that all the maximum health benefits of the honey are retained.

Wildflower honey is made from the nectar of a wide variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees. This "polyfloral" honey has a dark color with a bold flavor and floral notes. Depending on the season in which the honey is harvested, the flavors in this honey can vary slightly.

The sweet, smoky heat in our HOT TAR® Habanero Infused Wildflower Honey is created using our own sustainably-grown, chocolate habanero peppers. A chocolate-colored variation of the traditional orange habanero pepper, these peppers have a deep flavor profile that you won't find in any other hot pepper. We carefully remove all the membrane and seeds from the peppers so that they provide the best flavor with just the right amount of heat.

The chocolate habanero originated in Jamaica, but we've been growing our own since 1991. We carefully and responsibly maintain our own seed stock to ensure the highest quality fruits year after year. We also grow the peppers with sustainable growing practices, ensuring that no harmful pesticides or other synthetic products are used to grow these delicious hot peppers.
